I am a songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and audio producer from the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland.

Over the last few years, I have worked on a broad range of projects including writing original songs for the play We Have Won The Land, creating a Yeti Museum in a shipping container with artist Kate McMorrine, collaborating with Jason Singh and David Littler through their Sampler/Cultureclash project, and working on Story's End, a major collaborative project exploring death in narrative, with The Dead Man's Waltz and a host of visual and literary collaborators.

As a producer and engineer I work with some of the finest acts in Scotland's folk and acoustic scenes including DĂ imh, Fras, Amy Henderson and others, and teach recording and production at Sabhal Mor Ostaig / University of the Highlands and Islands. You can find out more about this side of things here.

Suspension and Disbelief (2016, with Philippa Thomas)
Together Philippa Thomas and I have been commissioned by An Lanntair in Stornoway to create a new exhibition, retracing the history of the Hebridean Cable Transit Company from its 1948 launch through its glorious heyday and onto its subsequent demise - featuring the fully restored last surviving HCTC gondola.

On tour with Mairearad Green and Mike Vass
Through 2016 I'll also be touring with Mairearad Green as she releases her album "Summer Isles", check out our dates.
